BOILO vs HDHMR for Termite Resistance — Which Should You Buy?

By One Home Interiors  |  Authorized Action TESA Dealer, Hanumakonda, Warangal

Both boards come from Action TESA, both are high density fibreboards, and both resist termites and borers. So which one do you need? The answer depends on the room.

On termites specifically

Both boards resist termites without extra treatment. BOILO's advantage is margin: it is denser, and it stays hard even when soaked. In a spot that is always damp — under a sink, beside a bathroom — that extra margin matters, because damp is what attracts termites in the first place.

In a dry bedroom, HDHMR already does the job.

The practical answer: use both

Most of our customers in Warangal combine them — BOILO for roughly the wettest 20 to 30 percent of the work and HDHMR for the rest. See the kitchen zone guide for an example. Send us your requirement and we will split the sheet list for you.
